Mustard Tamari Salmon

1 T dijon mustard

  • 1 1/2 T soy sauce or tamari
  • 3 T olive oil
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1 1/2 tsp honey or sugar
  • 2 T water
  • two good portions of salmon
  • cilantro


  1. – whisk the first six ingredients in a small bowl
  2. – pour half of the marinade into a ziploc bag with the salmon and place in fridge to marinate for 20-30 minutes
  3. – pan saute in a touch of olive oil for a few minutes on each side
  4. – finish off salmon in the broiler

serve over brown rice and top with extra marinade
