Buttermilk cream cheese frosting

This is Michelle’s adaptation of a Cooks Illustrated suggestion. Whoa baby, this is good stuff!
As a result of using the buttermilk powder, you use a lot less sugar for your frosting. It also gives it a tang.
  • 6T butter
  • 8oz cream cheese
  • 1.5-2C powdered sugar
  • 1/3 C buttermilk powder
  • 1T crème fraîche
